What is RSS?Not everyone agrees precisely what RSS stands for, but "Really Simple Syndication" is a popular choice. An RSS feed is a special Web page formatted for RSS readers. An RSS reader, sometimes called an RSS aggregator, is a program that displays the content, usually headlines and article summaries, of the feeds to which you subscribe.Using RSS Feeds allows you to read the contents of dozens of web pages in a breif format. For example, you might view the RSS feed for CNN.com to catch the latest headlines. Similarly, you can use the Osinski Auction RSS feed to learn about the latest auctions. An RSS reader aggregates the content for you to view in one place, this saves time and brings you the content like when you're reading a newspaper with the advantage to view only headlines. Question: Why does it look like code when I click on the RSS Feed?
Surprisingly, the RSS feed is supposed to look like that. The code is called XML and is very difficult for humans to read. The RSS Feed is intended to be read by an RSS Reader (see links to the software above).
